About Me

I'm a former academic with a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT. I taught operations management, design thinking, and business strategy to MBA and undergraduate business students at Harvard University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Boston University. My research on the uncertainty of entrepreneurial outcomes, the impact of international trade on firm innovation, and other topics has been published in leading economics and management journals.

After a decade in academia, I was ready to build something new. I created Sight Sphere, a coaching and consultation practice dedicated to helping individuals pursue a gratifying career path. This work is meaningful to me because it allows me to explore and understand each person's unique experiences and perspectives, and help them succeed. My approach combines my professional expertise—supporting learning and growth through teaching and researching—with two decades of meditation and mindfulness practice. My sessions are designed to build self-trust, enhance self-understanding, and encourage creative expression.

Why the name “Sight Sphere”? Sight gives us the gift of clarity, a gateway to embracing the world around us. Through sight—and all of our senses—the world comes alive, dynamic and ever-changing, no longer a fixed or abstract thought. As “sight” expands into a “sphere,” abstract thoughts transform into tangible actions—leading to real, lasting change.

As I navigate the lifelong practice of balancing intellect, intuition, and instinct, I have come to appreciate the diverse ways that we can engage with life—through intellectual discoveries, emotional experiences, physicality, and more. A mind that opens up to all of these dimensions unlocks a profound awareness of how we inhabit and shape the world, guiding us to live with a fierce curiosity and a quiet grace.
